I takt med att vi shoppar och anv\u00e4nder v\u00e5ra kl\u00e4der under v\u00e4ldigt kort period, \u00a0\u00f6kar ocks\u00e5 textilsoporna. Genom att modef\u00f6retag st\u00e4ndigt f\u00f6ljer nya trender och pumpar ut nya plagg som ska vara anpassade efter r\u00e4tt s\u00e4song, uppmuntrar detta till mer konsumtion. Detta f\u00e5r ocks\u00e5 negativa konsekvenser f\u00f6r v\u00e5r planet och livsstil. Resultatet blir ett extremt stort berg av textilier som inte heller h\u00e5ller n\u00e5gon h\u00f6g kvalitet. Det \u00e4r sv\u00e5rt att bli av med \u00f6verskottet, och vem vet ens vart allt material hamnar? M\u00e5nga butiker tar numera tillbaka kl\u00e4der man inte l\u00e4ngre vill ha i garderoben,\u00a0 och som tack f\u00f6r att man tagit sitt ansvar och inte sl\u00e4ngt kl\u00e4derna i br\u00e4nnbart f\u00e5r man en check som man kan handla nya kl\u00e4der f\u00f6r. Dubbelbudskapet med att sk\u00e4nka och k\u00f6pa k\u00e4nns ju s\u00e5d\u00e4r. Man undrar ju om detta \u00e4r ett s\u00e4tt f\u00f6r de st\u00f6rre modef\u00f6retagen att f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka kontrollera andrahandsmarknaden. Att sk\u00e4nka kl\u00e4der \u00e4r guld v\u00e4rt! Men inte en anledning till att forts\u00e4tta konsumera i den takt vi g\u00f6r. St\u00e4ll fr\u00e5gor om vad som faktiskt h\u00e4nder med textilierna till det st\u00e4llet du v\u00e4ljer att sk\u00e4nka till.<\/p>\n

All denna textil-waste har gjort att vi p\u00e5 Kl\u00e4doteket \u00e4lskar redesign. Innan jul drog vi ig\u00e5ng ett samarbete med designelever p\u00e5 Tillsk\u00e4rarakademin G\u00f6teborg, och i fredags fick vi se ett snyggt och proffsigt resultat. Eleverna har arbetat med gamla textilier fr\u00e5n R\u00f6da Korset och skapat nya kl\u00e4der utefter tre teman som vi tog fram; Landscape, Peaceful och Tokyo Art.<\/p>\n
