Jag beslutade mig f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra tv\u00e5 egna matr\u00e4tter av de produkter som skulle utv\u00e4rderas. Det fick lov att bli lite ”man tager vad man haver” som det ofta blir h\u00e4r hemma. De hela tomaterna anv\u00e4ndes till dagens lunch som bestod av en kall gazpacho med fetaostgratinerade br\u00f6d och bulguren kommer att f\u00e5 bli middag ikv\u00e4ll. Jag \u00e5terkommer med ett nytt inl\u00e4gg om det.<\/div>\n

Jag gjorde soppan i mixern f\u00f6r enkelhetens skull. Dela gurkan p\u00e5 mitten och skrapa ut fr\u00f6na. Hacka vitl\u00f6k, charlottenl\u00f6k och gurkan i mindre bitar och h\u00e4ll i en mixer tillsammans med tomaterna, basilikan och buljongen. Mixa i n\u00e5gon minut till \u00f6nskad konsistens. Smaka av med tabasko, olivolja, vin\u00e4ger, socker, chilipulver, salt och peppar. L\u00e5t st\u00e5 kallt \u00f6ver natten eller \u00e5tminstone ett par timmar. Dekorera med n\u00e5gra fina basilikablad, n\u00e5gra droppar olivolja och kanske n\u00e5gra br\u00f6dkrutonger.<\/div>\n

Smula fetaosten och blanda ut med f\u00e4rskost eller creme fraiche till lagom konsistens. Klipp i lite gr\u00e4s\u00f6k i r\u00f6ran och bred p\u00e5 br\u00f6dskivorna. Gratinera i ugn p\u00e5 250 grader i ca 5 min.<\/div>\n

Jag gillade dessa tomater mer \u00e4n de vi vanligtvis k\u00f6per. De hade fin f\u00e4rg och smakade mycket. Jag \u00e4r d\u00e5lig p\u00e5 att anv\u00e4nda hela tomater, h\u00e4r hemma \u00e4r det vanligtvis krossade som anv\u00e4nds men jag tror att jag ska ta och omv\u00e4rdera det. Tyv\u00e4rr s\u00e4ljer inte aff\u00e4ren vi brukar handla p\u00e5 (Willys i M\u00e4rsta) Salt\u00e5 Kvarns tomater (varken krossade eller hela) s\u00e5 jag m\u00e5ste ta och titta hur det ser ut i andra aff\u00e4rer h\u00e4r i f\u00f6rorten. Soppan fick tv\u00e5 tummar upp av sambon som tycke att tomatsmaken framtr\u00e4dde fint trots den ganska starka kryddningen. Sj\u00e4lv ser jag framf\u00f6r mig hur denna soppa kommer h\u00e4llas i en termos och tas med p\u00e5 stranden varma sommardagar.<\/div>\n
