2015 presenterade Kommissionen för ett socialt hållbart Stockholm sina första djupgående analyser. Det slående resultatet summerades redan i rapporten titel Skillnadernas Stockholm som visade en ökad segregering och avsaknaden av mötesplatser mellan människor från olika stadsdelar.
I augusti initierade The Collective därför studien Through My Eyes där ny teknik testas för att rasera samhällsklyftor och öka förståelse mellan olika stockholmare. I studien deltar profiler från olika yrkesgrupper och stadsdelar genom att filma segment ur deras liv och vardag med Spectacles, Snapchats smarta glasögon. Målet med studien är ge en möjlighet att följa olika människors perspektiv och testa hur teknik kan användas för att öka förståelse mellan människor. Innehållet tankas sedan upp på Snapchat-kontot throughmyeyes0.
Hittills har studien fyllts med en grym mix av Stockholmsprofiler som delat sina olika perspektiv: Zakaria A. Hersi, grundare av Orten.io, Fatemeh Khavari, ordförande för Ensamkommandes förbund Stockholm, Åsa Uhlin, chefredaktör på Veckans Affärer, Barakat Ghebrehawariat (även kallad Demokratiagenten), grundare av Demokrateam , Alexander Cemenson, verksamhetschef på RFSL, Cecilia Lago Albright, Communication Manager på Tobii Leo Ahmed, rektor på Järvaskolan och Jannike Kohinnor, lärare på Glömstaskolan.

Några veckor med Through My Eyes har åtminstone mitt eget perspektiv vidgas och letar nu efter fler spännande deltagare till Through My Eyes i höst.
