För fem år sedan startade jag Tråd fanzine för att jag ville uppmärksamma personer som driver på den hållbara utvecklingen inom mode och hantverk. Då var det i formen av ett pappersmagasin, handbundet med naturligt färgad tråd. Nu återuppstår Tråd som en blogg på The waves we make.
Tråd är en blogg om svenska makers och doers. Jag intervjuar samtida modeskapare, konstnärer, branschfolk och entreprenörer om sitt arbete, sina projekt och tankar. Vi gör nedslag i de strömningar och rörelser som främjar kreativitet, personlig stil och hållbarhet. Med mig i arbetet har jag fotograf Roger Olsson som porträtterar personerna i sitt naturliga habitat – oftast en ateljé eller ett hem.
Först ut är intervjun med Wendy Heijne som driver Studio Heijne. Lite senare i vår kommer ni bland annat få följa med till vävarna Miriam Parkman och Stefan Moberg. Min förhoppning är att få möta hantverkare, modeskapare och andra makers och doers runt om i Sverige och få dela deras historier med er.
