Emelie Svensson, årets Fashion UP! vinnare, som driver och har skapat märket Mli by SVENSSON bjuder in till en välbehövlig och kreativ workshop. I helgen som var körde vi nämligen de första omgångarna workshops med upcycling som tema. Att denna workshop är välbehövlig för miljön och människan är det nog inte någon som sätter sig emot. För många är den också välbehövlig för att få inspiration och hjälp med att faktiskt komma igång med de projekt som för många hamnat längst in i garderoben. Att äntligen få upplagt sina byxor som annars bara hänger i garderoben men är så snygga vore ju guld. Eller göra om den ganska trista baströjan till en trendig polo. Vad har jag egentligen för rätt att ha kilovis med kläder som inte används liggandes i garderoben? Kom igen, det finns alla möjligheter och kan till och med bli kul 🙂

Kalla det upcycling, redesign, remake, syjunta mm. Det finns en rad olika namn på detta fenomen, vissa lite mer sexiga än andra. Egentligen spelar det inte någon som helst roll vad vi kallar det. Det bästa du kan göra som modekonsument är att öka användningen av de plagg som redan producerats istället för att köpa nytt.

Emelie är tillbaka den 24 och 25 september i Klädotekets lokaler och kör då två nya workshops. Deltagaravgiften är 200:- för en av dagarna och 350:- för båda dagarna och anmälan sker genom att maila till mlibysvensson@gmail.com
