I helgen har vi äntligen flyttat ut kycklingarna i hönshuset. De verkar trivas alldeles utmärkt och igår kom en granne över och installerade ett gammalt element som han hade liggandes så nu har våra små fjäderfän hela 15 grader hemma och det är inte fy skam för en fågel med sådan standard!

I köket hänger rester från helgens sexårskalas kvar och bara väntar på att stökas undan, men det får bli en annan dag för solen skiner och vi ska ut och ropa in våren, för snart är den här även hos oss i växtzon V. Jag ska försöka städa ur växthuset om jag hinner men viktigast är bara att komma ut, hinna lyssna på barnen, fågelkvittret och dricka en (notera) varm kopp kaffe på läsidan av ladan. Det är prio.

Barnen har fått välja några fröpåsar var och varsitt litet drivhus att ta hand om, det känns så självklart att de ska vara med i trädgården. Även om det stryker med en och annan gröda emellanåt så är det mycket värt att ge dem förståelsen för att det mesta vi äter går att pilla ner i jorden och upp växer ny mat som vi sedan skördar och kan äta. Fint!

Men än så länge stannar växterna inne och puttrar på i sin egen lilla takt och vi pysslar med ägg, letar sälg till påskriset och längtar lite lagom efter grönska utanför fönstren istället för ett vitt snötäcke, men det är nog inte många veckor kvar innan snön smält bort.
