<\/p>\nToday, Thursday the 23rd of March 2017, \u00a0was a very important day for the Swedish Fashion Industry. Today the industry came together and signed the Swedish Fashion Ethical Charter.<\/p>\n

The charter is a\u00a0new policy stating\u00a0common values and guidelines regarding body image, diversity and safety issues within the fashion industry. The policy is unique in that it caters to the entire industry and all the positions and disciplines that represent the industry; designs, trademarks, modeling agencies, casting agents, advertising buyers, stylists, marketing departments, advertising agencies, photographers, industry associations and the media. The initiative for Swedish Fashion Ethical Charter comes from the\u00a0Swedish Fashion Council and the Association of Swedish Fashion Brands together with\u00a0ELLE and the model agency MIKAS.<\/p>\n

Already 53 of the largest fashion companies in Sweden have signed the policy, including Filippa K, J. Lindeberg, House of Dagmar and BACK. Anyone can support The Swedish Fashion Ethical Charter by signing this policy. The goal is to establish a broad coalition of key stakeholders and companies.
