När vi var ute på gården senast trollade mamma fram den här fantastiska hemmagjorda nyponsoppan. Jag som inte alls gillar den söta köpta varianten blev glatt överreaskad av hur god den va. Sambon blev stormförtjust! Jag tänkte i alla fall dela med mig av mammas recept. Än är det inte för sent att gå ut och plocka nypon.
1-2 dl nyponmos 
(plockade nypon som kokats i vatten i ca 10 min och därefter mosats i mosvagga eller i passerapparat så att kärnorna tagits bort)
1 liter vatten
1-2 msk socker (eller annat sötningsmedel tex honung)
2 msk potatismjöl eller majsmjöl

Blanda noggrant och smaka av om du vill ha starkare nyponsmak. Tillsätt socker. Smaka av igen om du vill ha det sötare. Det går säkert att prova något annat sötningsmedel som agave eller honung om man vill det.

Koka upp och tillsätt potatismjöl eller majsmjöl under omkörning. (man kan också röra ut det i lite vatten och hälla i det i den heta soppan under omkörning). Koka upp igen och rör tills det tjocknar. Vill du ha den tjockare ta en msk till och upprepa proceduren.

Serveras varm eller kall med glass eller grädde efter vad du tycker bäst om.
