Kolla på dessa! De är så gulliga! Och godisgoda. Det är små hanblommor från tall. Tallstrunt kallas de tydligen. Tallen (Pinus sylvestris) är jättebra, den går nämligen att använda till mycket. Barken från unga plantor kan rostas och ätas som snacks, rötterna från unga plantor kan ätas råa eller i en gryta och skotten kan ätas som de är. Dessutom kan barren plockas året runt och användas till te, sillinläggningar, snaps, som krydda i såser och grytor osv. Varning: att plocka tallskott/bark/blommor utan markägarens tillstånd = BIG NO NO, så fråga först.
Tallstruntar är jättegoda som de är, men den här gången testade jag att rosta blommorna lätt och använde de sedan i en sallad med bland annat min absolut bästa vilda matväxt löktrav (Alliaria petiolata). Kolla vad gott det ser ut! Det smakade skog.
