\nIg\u00e5r la vi sista<\/strong> handen vid balkongen och \u00e4ntligen \u00e4r vi klara. Att det kan ta s\u00e5 l\u00e5ng tid att fixa i ordning en s\u00e5 liten yta… Eftersom vi inte har n\u00e5gon bil har det blivit m\u00e5nga cykelturer f\u00f6r att fixa med blommor och v\u00e4xter, men man f\u00f6rv\u00e5nas varje g\u00e5ng \u00f6ver hur mycket man faktiskt kan frakta p\u00e5 cykel. M\u00e5nga av v\u00e4xterna har vi drivit upp fr\u00e5n fr\u00f6n och det g\u00f6r det liksom \u00e4nnu lite roligare. V\u00e5r gurkplanta (som aldrig tycks vilja sluta v\u00e4xa) b\u00f6rjade som sm\u00e5 fr\u00f6n som sedan f\u00f6rvandlades till decimeterh\u00f6ga, taniga gr\u00f6na spr\u00f6t och som sedan har vuxit upp till en st\u00e5tlig meterh\u00f6g gr\u00f6n buske (i brist p\u00e5 b\u00e4ttre ord). Nu har den gula blommor och man ser redan tillstymmelse till ett 30-tal sm\u00e5 gurkor. I nul\u00e4get \u00e4r de bara n\u00e5gra centimeter l\u00e5nga, men f\u00f6rhoppningsvis kommer n\u00e5gra humlor eller andra insekter och s\u00e4tter sig p\u00e5 blommorna s\u00e5 att vi i sommar kan sk\u00f6rda en riktigt stor omg\u00e5ng med ekologisk gurka.<\/p>\n

F\u00f6rutom gurkan har<\/strong> vi s\u00e5tt ringblomma, lukt\u00e4rt och kryddv\u00e4xter och snart ska \u00e4ven en omg\u00e5ng sallatsfr\u00f6n f\u00e5 \u00e5ka ner i jorden. I \u00f6vrigt har vi n\u00e4stan uteslutande satsat p\u00e5 v\u00e4xter som g\u00e5r att \u00f6vervintra alternativt anv\u00e4ndas i matlagning eller hudv\u00e5rdsprodukter. Dessutom har vi k\u00f6pt lokalt odlade v\u00e4xter fr\u00e5n Eker\u00f6, vilket inte \u00e4r alls l\u00e5ngt fr\u00e5n d\u00e4r vi bor. Alla gr\u00f6nsaker och kryddor \u00e4r naturligtvis ekologiska och allt p\u00e5 balkongen odlas i ekologisk och KRAV-m\u00e4rkt jord.<\/p>\n

Vi har flera plantor med lavendel och jag planerar att anv\u00e4nda blommorna i olika hudv\u00e5rdsprodukter fram\u00f6ver. Pelargonen och murgr\u00f6nan hoppas jag kunna \u00f6vervintra s\u00e5 att vi kan njuta av dem \u00e4ven n\u00e4sta \u00e5r.<\/p>\n

\u00c4ven om vi<\/strong> suttit mycket p\u00e5 balkongen tidigare i v\u00e5r s\u00e5 har det inte varit riktigt samma sak utan ett ordentligt bord, ett f\u00e4rdiglagt golv och v\u00e4xter. Vi k\u00e4nde att vi beh\u00f6vde ha en proper balkonginvigning s\u00e5 ig\u00e5r kv\u00e4ll drack vi ros\u00e9vin och grillade majskolvar som vi \u00e5t med ugnsrostad potatis och en stor sallad.<\/p>\n
