Det har blivit några resor under åren, samtliga som lämnat mig med ett särskilt starkt intryck och minne. Förra året begav jag mig till Seoul och Tokyo, med det hittills största reseadrenalinet och en förväntan av en kreativ injektion. Jag besökte DDB i Seoul, jag sjöng karaoke, drack kaffe med 15 katter på kattcafé, besteg Fuji, tog in så mycket K-pop som hjärtat klarade och strök runt på de coolaste platserna för att få rätt kreativt flöde.

Men ett år senare var det något annat som fastnade allra mest och som verkligen
fortsätter att prägla mina tankar idag, från litet till stort:

Respekten för kollektivet.

Vi har ett sånt besynnerligt fokus på ”jaget” i väst att det blir sån kollektivchock för hjärnan när man hamnar på en plats där samhället fokuserar på gruppens helhet, och där individuell prestation hyllas om denna  bidragit till att stärka sitt sammanhang.

Denna insikt förföljer mig i min roll som kreativ chef och hur jag jobbar, hur jag fortsätter att forma The Collective och anledningen till varför en smidig av-och påstigning när jag åker tunnelbana har blivit en så otroligt kritisk del av min vardag.
