Vi kan inte mer än hylla Hedvig Bergman som tillverkat helt geniala skor. (När vi var i Sthlm senast hade vi turen att skåla med henne!) Känslan av att gå omkring med ens favoritcitat i platåsulan måste ju vara grymt peppande. Eller varför inte kila in bankkortet och läppstiftet och skippa handväskan. Den fint arbetade platåsulan i trä är öppningsbar. Som ett dolt lönnfack finns det här möjlighet att fylla skon med olika ting.

Hedvig säger själv såhär om verken: Med ”Du lär mig att bli fri” och ”Berta Wilhelmsons villa – Mitt liv i miniatyr” vill jag belysa hur kläder och mode har reflekterat människors liv både personligt och strukturellt på ett sätt som jag betraktar som poetiskt och politiskt, förtryckande och autonomt på samma gång.
