Kylan är på ingång och vi vill tipsa om superbra läsning som passar till varmt te och mys i soffan! Två fantastiska böcker som tar upp mode ur olika perspektiv har getts ut nu i höst. Först ut är boken MODESLAVAR- Den globala jakten på billigare kläder, och är skriven av journalisterna Moa Kärnstrand och Tobias Andersson Åkerblom.
För några veckor sedan mötte vi författarna bakom boken under ett författarsamtal kring bokens tema. En minst sagt viktig och informativ bok finns nu ute på marknaden som öppnar upp till diskussion för den ”vanlige” modekonsumenten. Det märktes av publiken som förde ett intressant eftersnack med författarna. Om frågan på hur framtidens modekonsumtion ser ut svarade Moa och Tobias att man kan se ett liknande mönster mellan matindustrin och modeindustrin. Inom matindustrin har det skett en stor förändring de senaste åren med en ökad efterfrågan på ekologiska matprodukter och man ser även en ökad efterfrågan på mer hållbara alternativ inom modeindustrin.
