Just nu jobbar jag med ett projekt uppe i den lilla orten Kilafors i Bollnäs kommun vilket innebär en och annan reda dit. För en tid sedan sökte jag runt på internet på jakt efter grovt garn och hittade
Filtmakeriets fina hemsida. De jobbar med svensk, närproducerad fårull från gårdar med god djurhållning. Jag drömde mig bort i de vackra bilderna och döm av min förvåning när jag läste var de hade sitt spinneri och fabik. Jo, i Kilafors! Av alla ställen! Idag tog jag mig lite tid och svängde förbi dom. I en häftig fabrikslokal mitt bland i det vackra hälsingelandskapet låg det. Det är två systrar som driver det och de jobbar på samma maskiner som fanns i fabriken när den invides 1948. Jag fick hålla mig för att inte komma därifrån med orimligt mycket garn. Jag har tänkt ge mig på ett pysselprojekt under jul och till det behövdes material.
