Nu är Fashion UP! över och vi har hunnit landa lite efter helgens alla happenings. Vi är otroligt glada över att vi får driva denna satsning mot en hållbar modeindustri. En av grundstenarna i festivalen är designtävlingen. Under totalt 20 h tävlade i år fem designers och vilken hög kvalitet det blev på resultatet! Materialet var insamlat från Emmaus Björkå och val av färger och kvalitéer var kopplat till temat The Beauty in Dissimilar Lines. Juryn bestod av Maria Decida Wahlberg, Lina Magassa, Erica Blomberg och David Njie. Vinnaren av designtävlingen kommer att få designa en kollektion tillsammans med Emmaus som sedan säljs i den populära butiken på Linnégatan i Göteborg. Swedish Fashion Council bistod också med fantastiska priser: en trendguide FASHION AW17/18, en plats till Swedish Fashion Council seminarium ”Fashion and Inspiration AW 18/19 och två biljetter till Swedish Fashion Talents visning under Fashion Week Stockholm.
