Mandelmjölk är en ny sak jag fastnat för. Så enkelt, nyttigt och gott! Jag gjorde en omgång i morse efter jag kommit in från min pw. Jag låter som hälsan själv, eller hur? Så är det definitivt inte men mandelmjölk tycker jag i alla fall att ni ska prova om ni inte redan gjort det. Den går utmärkt att dricka som den är, smaksätta eller ha i teet på mornarna. Eller varför inte göra en god smoothie med hallon, banan och mandelmjök? Eller en nyttigare variant med avocado och spenat? Låt fantasin flöda!
Gör såhär: Ställ en deciliter ekologiska (ja, för du vill undvika gifter) mandlar i en skål med vatten i kylskåpet över natten eller 5-6 timmar. Häll bort vattnet, ta bort skalet på mandlarna om du vill men det behöver man absolut inte. Häll i en mixer tillsammans med 5 dl nytt vatten och mixa. Sila sedan mjölken genom en finmaskig silduk. Jag använde den jag använder när jag gör saft och det fungerade ypperligt. Häll upp mjölken i en rengjort glasflaska och ställ in i kylskåpet. Håller en 4-5 dagar.
Mandeln som blir över efter silningen ska man absolut inte slänga, använd den i stället i matlagning eller bak! Jag blandade i den i kesoplättarna jag gjorde till lunch men man kan även t.ex. torka massan och använda som mandelmjöl när man baka macarons!
